Report: Simon suspended 22 games

Does this sound fair to you?
Chris Simon, the New York Islanders' tough guy who slashed the Rangers' Ryan Hollweg in the face Thursday night, has suspended by the NHL for the remainder of the regular season and seven playoff games, TSN reported on its web site Saturday.
Since the Islanders have 15 regular season games left, the suspension could be for as long as 22 games.
This is the sixth time Simon has been suspended by the league.
Simon's suspension is the second-longest in NHL history for an on-ice incident. Marty McSorley was banned for 23 games for hitting Donald Brashear in the head with his stick in 2000.

Umm...I think Chris Simon needs to quite playing aggressive sports and focus on some anger management classes! This is insane!

I'm sure the trend he's showing will affect his marketability. A good bite out of his wallet may give him cause to pause and count to ten next time. I know it would me! :)
