arcane
\ar-KAYN\, adjective: Understood or known by only a few.
Hmm. Give your thorough definition of "eclectic", this vague and somewhat mysterious definition of "arcane" (known by only a few?) is troubling, to say the least. What are you driving at?
Oh, and the definition of "arcane" is even worse! I haven't slept nights in years pondering its definition. sometimes I believe I grok it, but that's usually only an alcoholic haze masking my true perceptiveness.

Erm, you want a thorough definition of "eclectic"? I'd describe the word as vague, somewhat mysterious, and troubling, to say the least. :P
